What happens if I miss a week? You miss out on training unfortunately. Like a gym membership, it's up to you to attend the classes. If you need to pause your membership because you are away for a month, then you can just suspend or stop your membership,

Will I get fit/lose weightOur classes will certainly be an important part of achieving that goal. Diet and fitness go hand in hand. The key to fitness is to enjoy doing it and training on your own can be difficult in terms of motivation sometimes. However fit your are, doing a different sport than the one that defines your fitness level, challenges your fitness level. 2 minutes of good focus pads can be made difficult for anyone. The goal in every exercise we do in our classes is to improve technique, make it functional and be continually trying to raise our personal bar. Engaging as a group, you work to each others levels and are continually trying to help each other raise levels.

Are the classes good for self-defense?You're definitely in better shape having trained in some form of combat than not having trained. You'll have seen an awful lot more kick and punches than someone who hasn't. Your striking should be effective and we cover lots of concepts of fighting. The objective is always not having to fight, walking away or putting yourself into a position where you can walk away.
-
Why are gym memberships less expensive than Martial Arts membership?Because they are a commodity and not about truly acquiring a skill. You can attend Boxercise or Body Combat classes for years without being ever learning the correct technique. You're going to the gym to sweat. You come to martial arts classes to grow.

Martial Arts training from the age of 10 was pivotal in enabling your coach to achieve good GCSE's, A Levels and a University degree.
